School Chocolate Making Workshops
Teachers and Children alike will love our chocolate workshops.
These workshops can be used to kick start a topic at the beginning of term, a reward at the end of a topic/term or just for fun! Our workshops are based at our factory site in Hanley Swan, Worcestershire. Our facilities enable us to cater for large groups, including those with special needs. We have created workshops that are both educational and fun.
Areas and topics within the National Curriculum covered:
History – The history of chocolate.
Geography – The process of how chocolate is made.
Science & Food Technology – The process of tempering.
Stimulating Children’s Senses – Chocolate tasting.
Social Awareness – Fairtrade
And just the fun of learning and playing with chocolate.
All of these include the topics mentioned above and a chocolate tasting.
£15 per child – Key Stage 1 – Piping Shapes, Chocolate Lolly (minimum 15 children)
£15 per child - Key Stage 2 – Chocolate Lolly, Chocolate Bark (minimum 15 children)
Teachers FREE
Free squash/ water provided for all children
For groups of over 15 children – workshop will be split into 2 groups.
Duration is approx. 1.5hrs.
Youth Group Workshop
Suitable for: Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Cadets & Other Charitable Groups
Completing a badge or just for fun, our workshops are both creative and educational. We’re able to tailor our workshops accordingly, but find that most of the time, everyone just want to have as much fun as possible!
Available Monday - Friday only and suitable for 'uniformed' and/or charitable groups.
The participants will make chocolate lollies or chocolate bark and enjoy some chocolate tasting.
£24 per person for groups of 20+
£27 per person for groups between 15-19 people
£30 per person for groups between 10-14 people
Minimum group size 10.
Free squash/ water provided.
For groups of over 15 people – workshop will be split into 2 groups.
Duration approx. 1.5hrs.
